Well the launcher itself works fine, both the .desktop file and on the dock,
just not the icon.
.desktop file contents:

1. The image works perfectly fine with other launchers. Also, this problem
occurs with the blender launcher no matter what icon I use for it.
2. I was just saying ~ to not have to type the rest. It uses the full name in
the actual file.

in my home folder) and the icon (although the launcher I dragged to the
dock had the correct icon) is a black square with a grey border

active selection goes to the column titled Now Playing, which, when
