Public bug reported:
Three symlinks are wrong in /usr/lib/llvm-3.8/lib/python2.7/site-
packages/lldb/
libLLVM-3.8.0.so.1, libLLVM-3.8.so.1, and _lldb.so
Symptom:
problem in lldb - : No module named _lldb
Happens when you try to `import lldb`.
For example by running `pydoc lldb`.
Workaround:
I used it on a Laptop with Ubuntu Desktop installed and it worked.
Then I reinstalled that laptop with the netinstall iso and only
installed the ubuntu server package, but not the desktop stuff. Now
ssmtp fails.
My guess is that it is somehow affected by hostname settings, which is
probably
grog, this does not work for me on 16.04.
# apt remove binutils
[...]
The following packages will be REMOVED:
binutils binutils-arm-linux-gnueabi build-essential clang clang-3.8 dpkg-dev
g++ g++-5 g++-5-multilib g++-multilib gcc gcc-5 gcc-5-multilib gcc-multilib
lcov
0 upgraded, 0 newly
If I understood these comments correctly, the proper workaround is to
remove gcc-multilib and create symlinks manually?

Gnome-terminal sets directory to HOME for ctrl-shift-n
Public bug reported:
With Ubuntu 14.04 I could Ctrl-Shift-N in my gnome-terminal and another
terminal window came up with the same working directory. When I upgraded
to 16.04.1, the new terminal window now always uses $HOME as working
directory. I want the 14.04 behavior.
This has nothing to do
