I used it on a Laptop with Ubuntu Desktop installed and it worked. Then I reinstalled that laptop with the netinstall iso and only installed the ubuntu server package, but not the desktop stuff. Now ssmtp fails. My guess is that it is somehow affected by hostname settings, which is probably
