Same here. I apparently crash also when I add clips and try to switch to
another software during the thumbs generation (not always reproducible).

official debs.
If you install official Sun deb Openoffice packages, apt force uninstall
on any full/dist-upgrade. If OpenOffice ubuntu version was lower than
Sun's version
I don't agree for several reasons,
1) If I have multiple users, they can't share music.
2) If I'm on a server, /var is (often) larger than /home so the music has a
better place here.
3) It's easier to just make a ln -s /var/lib/mpd/music ~/Music than the
opposite, simply cause /var/lib/mpd is
