[Bug 370583] Re: gstreamer-properties video webcam does not work

I can confirm this bug on the Acer 4720-6518. Basically all is working with jaunty except for the Webcam. The X3100 (graphic Media Acceleration) was resolved by activating jaunty-proposed and jaunty-backports on the Sources. The Webcam is for me, until now, unsolvable. -- gstreamer-properties

I have the same issue, HP 1020 is listed so you can add it. Once added the 'download aditional software' dialog appears, and does nothing after clicking OK. So there is definitely a bug here. I applied the hp-setup command, where apparently the firmware is downloaded, however in order to work
