Hi all I would reopen this bugreport and move it to kernel/firmware
category with the following additional information and my experiences I
describe below.
The above posted part of syslog with the error message Incompatible
driver and firmware versions is a kernel message and has nothing to do
I must revoke my above claim that it loads the firmware with Oneiric
with either kernels but I reserve my claim on Natty as the whole distro
upgrade was downloaded with that modem. I was trying to connect it with
Debian and the Oneiric again and both the mentioned kernels but I'm
getting the same
