Hi Fabio! Thanks for your attention to my problem. It looks like it's solved
now. When I faced with this bug I just switched to left win as a keyboard
layout changer and forgot about the problem. I left Ctrl + Shift in settings
only today and it works ok (ubuntu 10.04 with latest packages).

Binary package hint: evolution
I've changed my gmail password. Now when I want to check my gmail
account with evolution it always prompts me an input-password window
with filled in my old password (I suppose it's an old password by it's
length). I tried File->Forget Passwords
This happens when both Ctrl+Shift and Alt+Shift combinations are enabled. So if
you leave only one combination enabled this combination will work as expected.
So there are some problems if you want to change layout with two combinations
(for instance Alt+Shift and Ctrl+Shift).
Ubuntu 9.04 :)

Public bug reported:
Strange behaviour of Ctrl+Shift as a layout changer (US/RU) : it fires
only when Shift is first pressed. If you press first Ctrl it is not
fired at all ... Alt+Shift works OK. Don't know the name of the package
with bug (if it's a bug).
