This was a fresh installation.
Ubiquity crashed during the packages install phase.
I selected the option to have an encrypted LVM, otherwise I kept the
standard selections

In Ubuntu 15.10 invesalius depends on python-casmooth python-vtk python-
vtkgdcm and python-vtk6 (and some more), but python-vtk6 require the
removal of python-vtk.
To reproduce:
try to install invesalius from command line
installation will fail
Try to install the missing dep

I always had overheating problems with the opensource driver, so I used
the binary driver from ATI.
Actually with the latest updates the ati-closed-driver doesn't work
anymore also on ubuntu 12.04

I installed gespeaker and mbrola voices (en1, it3, it4).
Mbrola voices are installed with default path in /usr/share/mbrola/[en1|it3|it4]

The trouble is probabily in the package pm-utils, it continue to happen
in the other version of ubuntu but it suddendly disappear if I manually
install the version 1.3 instead of the 1.4.

I tried the 2.6.36-02-06-36 kernel and when I disconnected the adaptor
the computer freezed the same.
I wait more help with all the named kernels installed.

I tried with the 2.6.35-02063507-generic that is the mainline
corrispondent of my kernel and the problem occurred.
Now I'm going to try the last kernel of the 2.6.35 serie and after the
latest mainline kernel (if the problem continue to occur).

Also for me, only on maverick (i upgraded from lucid) the system completely
freeze when I disconnect the power cable.
I my case the notebook freeze without kernel-panic blinkin' keyboard.

I can suggest that the grayed part should be less transparent and more
dark, but the main change it think could be inserting user icon (.face)
in this dialog before the "Password:" string, and to make the dialog
whole look more "3d" for example detaching it from the grayed part of
the screen!
