version of compiz (0.8.8-3). I'm not sure what features the newer

I have this on Karmic 64-bit.
My external TV is on HDMI.

seem to have pretty much the same problem:
1. Intrepid with now updated lirc 0.8.4a (had the same problem in 0.8.3 about a
week ago)
2. Card is a Winfast TV 2000 XP with the CoolCommand Remote

The user has to confirm or cancel the action now, which is good.
Must do so one-by-one on every file, if you use the "save all" button, which is
questionable but a that is different issue.
The real problem I had is fixed now so this particular bug can be closed

Hardy works fine if running pulseaudio (minus the mixed up channels). Meaning
you lose in KDE.

"Open" and "Open with" have no effect. I am however unsure if it is caused by

Yes it's still the same with Hardy Beta (sis966 chip here). Left and
right are okay but the center and rear boxes are coming from the front
ones (not sure which exactly, kinda mixed into all of them).
I so much hope this will work once again in Hardy as nicely as it did in

remove the lines after Option "DRI""true" (yes all those 10 lines
or so). That's what I've got and suspend works.

somehow.

that is just a warning and that's not why aiglx doesn't work for you IMHO.
I have the same warning and it works for me, just for info.
Look for something else that might stop AIGLX to work properly (nvidia glx
drivers installed or so, I had that somehow)

jens' solution worked for me too (mkswap, change to new UUID in fstab, edit
resume file, update initramfs). Haven't tried hibernation yet but swap is
activated now on boot so it should work.

The last tests were on edgy, but I had dapper on the laptop 2 months ago and it
