I'm using Maverick.

Since I only use the Ubuntu One-based address book I'd like it to be the
only one shown in the list: in every possible menu entry I've set
"Ubuntu One" as the default address book.
I have the inverse problem. I don't use any "On this computer" calendar
and there's no way to eliminate the "Personal" and the "On this
computer" entries from the view.

I want the -ck line to be the default choice, after a dist-upgrade, even if a
newer vanilla kernel was installed.

the annoying thing with ubuntu is that as soon as you get out of the Path (not
using network manager, using thunderbird intead of evolution, etc..) bad and
annoying things start to happen.
if you keep your system up to date, you're sure that in grub's kernel
list the -ck line
Pidgin has the "has you" thing, but It doesn't show you a "re-authorize"
option for the buddies with "Has you" set to "No".
I think I used meebo to ask authorizations.. but I'm not sure, it was
long ago.

I was modifying some file when gedit closed abruptly.
No way to restart it:
trying to execute it from the CL did not work, it just wouldn't launch, and the
line returned.
To make it start again I had to remove this file:

I was using Intrepid standard empathy package when I first set the avatar for
msn.
Then I upgraded the package with the Ibex's PPA. Now, I'm no more able to
change the avatar. It changes in Edit-> Personal Information, but in the
conversation w
when i unchek "Enable Networking" with a wireless connection on I get
this syslog.

As of Sat Apr 26, I still have this problem.
At each reboot I find myself with the US layout even if the Italian one
is listed in the Keyboard Preferences -> Layout Tab.

As can be seen from the log I'm using:
1) Maxima 5.9.3 - which is only in edgy: wxmaxima's version will then be edgy's
version:
2) wxmaxima: 0.6.5-1
3) xmaxima: 5.9.3-1
both front-end gave the error I've reported.
