This is also a problem on the Dell Mini 9 netbook. For myself, I solved it by
replacing it with an Intel 3645 a/b/g wifi card & have no driver problems.

Also, I've tried with and without backports installed. No improvement
either way. In fact, the wireless card is sometimes not detected in
network manager at all with backports enabled.

Seen this message reported previously, but not with Jaunty or my
hardware.
Running the 9.04 UNR on Dell Mini 9 with Broadcom 4312 wireless. Network
connectivity lasts 5-10 minutes, then all packets are lost, sometimes with
error:

FYI-
Just added backports for Jaunty via
sudo apt-get install linux-backports-modules-jaunty,
I get prompted for new backports kernel modules, and install them/reboot.
No change. I've removed backports.

I'm also experiencing this exact issue on Jaunty Netbook Remix installed
on a Dell Mini 9 with Broadcom 4312 wireless chipset. Ping &
connectivity drops, but network manager reports full signal on wireless.
Logs attached.
Should I enable Jaunty backports for a fix?
