Internal LCD display is completely corrupt and unusable with default
xorg.conf. Can use an external monitor.
Had the same problem under Hardy and had to specify "i810" driver in
xorg.conf though this doesn't seem

Nothing is modified, I am booting from the CD for these tests. Any old
configs are long gone, sorry!

Perhaps should mention I'm using the older version A08 bios from Dell
which used to fix compatibility with the old i810 driver, in case this
is relevant.
