- and it is 2.2 while the version of gimp that comes with gutsy is 2.3.18.
- I believe the version numbers should be the same.

/usr/share/pixmaps/splash/ubuntu-splash.png when launching Gnome, but
this file don't exist in the default installation of Ubuntu, so Gnome

well,
