When I open a file on a Webdav share - Libreoffice asks for a password
for a keyring (which is not the one of Gnome it runs on). An attempt to
open the file from outside e.g. from Nautilus results in an error with
no password dia

I hacked a crude workaround:
nano setmonitor.sh:
#!/bin/bash
sleep 1
xrandr --output DFP1 --auto --right-of DFP2
chmod ogu+x setmonitor.sh
and put it in the Autostart of the desktop environment
Hope that's fine until the amdcccle issue is fixed.

ubuntu-restricted-extras where already installed. To make sure - to have
a complete version, I reinstalled it. No avail - the same mess.

Well, at least 16 people have this problem with Istanbul - the 15
aforementioned and me.
I found a quite crude workaround: disable sound recording in Istanbul,
use the gnome sound recorder, save both files as ogg, join images and
sound in pitivi (also able to edit it a bit)

I have an Acer Travelmate 5720 with a Crystal Eye built in webcam which
works only sporadicly. This is a trace from the syslog. I opened Kopete
and could see the image of the webcam. Then I closed it and reopened
which resulted in freezing Kopete. While that I got the following syslog
