In Xubuntu 8.04, when I move my mouse onto the little artwork thumbnail
at the top of the window a large version of the artwork pops up. If I
then use my mouse's scroll wheel while my mouse is over the larger pop
up thumbnail it makes my computer
After further investigation...
An up scroll motion makes the thumbnail pop up disappear with no
negative effects.
A down scroll makes me switch desktops.

I wasnt sure if this was a LiveCD issue and that once properly installed
Xubuntu would show the partitions on my desktop just fine (as it does
with my installation of Xubuntu 7.10) but when I asked on the IRC
channel people seemed to be off the opinion that it should have worked

an nVidia card). For my the tearing goes away as soon as I switch
'Visual Effects' to 'None'.

Xebozone, your card will use nvidia-96, which hasn't been fixed by the
Nvidia guys yet (unless something has changed I'm not aware of). Until
they issue a fix this bug can't be fixed. We are waiting on them to
supply the fix.

then all downloads open in their native apps, so downloading a zip opens
