The bug is due to the use of MarkFaceColor in plot function.
for example, it crashes when i use,
plot(X(neg, 1), X(neg, 2), 'ko', 'MarkerFaceColor', 'y', 'MarkerSize', 7)
but it will not crash when the plot function is used as

I tried opening my ps and eps files with evince first. It did not work
properly. The problem is the same. The file opens when rotated by +90
deg ( ctrl+ right ) or -90 deg ( ctrl+ left ) but not otherwise. So I
thought to try out alternative applications like qpdfview.

f2 key for wireless not working

@ joseph salisbury, i have downloaded the image and header files but
they dont seem to run. please refer bug 697520. it has the same problem.
Even data is almost the same. The network key above f2 not working due
to missing patch. If testing the upstream version is absolutely
necessary please also
please also pay attention to the result of sudo rfkill list command.
Note also that there exists no other wireless switch other than the
special f2 key. thank you.

i also face the same problem. Mine is inspiron mini 1018. f2 key is not
working and wireless netyworks have been disabled by hardware switch. i
do not understand how to install the bug fix. please specify in laymans
terms.

LightDM does not use the Lubuntu-default theme, it comes up un-themed at
login.
The problem is that it should use the theme name Lubuntu-default in
the file lightdm-gtk-greeter.conf

Some success at last...
I purged bluez via
sudo apt-get remove --purge bluez
then installed bluez from here
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/bluez/4.69-0ubuntu2/+build/1930179
these are maverick's version of bluez.
Now Blueman detects my mobile and i can browse files on it.
Still DUN is a
