I am using a Logitech usb headset (actually, a couple of different
versions of them). And every time the computer is rebooted the speaker
volume of the headset is reset to zero. This is really annoying to run
alsamixer after every reboot.

X server.
It seems that the sever hangs or something like this. GDM screen is corrupted
and keyboard is non-responsive.

wrong with fonts.
I use Consolas font in my emacs
(set-default-font Consolas-12)
And it looks very nice in Emacs 23.1. However, in 23.2 it is very very
bad.

It seems something going wrong in the pdf2ps converter, probably related to
ghostscript.
For example, when I try to print the attached file the first page is
printed OK. However, the second one gives an error:

this happened to be when having two instances of nautilus opened. one on my
thumb drive and one of an ntfs partition used for videos.
firefox was open and was also running. i am using hardy heron. amarok and
screenlets in widget layer were running. emerald is being used along with

evolution. it successfully imported after observations from the post-
crash. but hey it still crashed anyways.
