S3 is another term for Suspend to RAM. S1 would be blank screen. Most
BIOSes will just say S3 or S2R for suspend to ram.
Input folder looks same before and after en-/disabling.
I found out, that the light on the touchpad button is on, if touchpad is

Hey!
Thanks Martin, that works - I can then press the button, the LED is off
and the touchpad works. So maybe some1 could take a look at psmouse's
source?
So now that we know the reason, how can I/we debug and fix it? Is there

your password twice. A solution might be Novells approach on openSuSE
11.1: They add kernel options.

* With no parametres "irqpoll elevator=cfq" I get a message (after logging in
into gdm): "Could not initialise HAL".
* WLan won't work (bcm43xx)
* dmesg says "try irqpoll - if it works, report it as a bug" ;-)

As you can see, attributes are incomplete. This can not be fixed with a lower
font size - it is already set to 9.
"Benutzer" should contain username, and the first entries are always "...ID",

I had this in my backup, too. Just run:
sed 's/(,/),/g'
I am using 8.10 amd64
The backupfile used was /var/lib/dpkg/status-old .

Since Ubuntu 8.10, Totem can play Youtube's videos natively. The
annoying thing is, that I could not find an option to set the videos to
higher quality. The videos I watched were available in higher quality,
so I think there should be an option prov
As you can see, attributes are incomplete. This can not be fixed with a lower
font size - it is already set to 9.
"Benutzer" should contain username, and the first entries are always "...ID",
like WID or NID - also cut off.
Sorry for posting twice, I were not able to attach a screenshot earlier

Yes I am on amd64.
As a friend reported, he has the same issues I have:
* empty preferences window
* no Gnome Menu
* no Icon
* oversized in width
Anyway, this should be discussed at Google Code I think.

FN+F7 to an extra key. With this key on Ubuntu 9.04, you can switch the

thanks for your quick reply.
S3 is another term for Suspend to RAM. S1 would be blank screen. Most
BIOSes will just say S3 or S2R for suspend to ram.
Input folder looks same before and after en-/disabling.
I found out, that the light on the touchpad button is on, if touchpad is
switched off
