Public bug reported:
I am currently running Ubuntu Gusty with kernel 2.6.22-14-generic. I
have noticed that when the fan kicks in kacpid starts to take up 85-95%
of the cpu. This process cannot be killed and is really causes lag on
the system when trying to do other things.
** Affects: ubuntu
I guess the ACPI Kernel Team is backed up or something.

Public bug reported:
I have a Toshiba U205-S5067 that came with Windows Vista. As soon as I
got the laptop I formated the drive and installed Ubuntu. Everything
worked fine until I placed the computer in Hibernation. After coming
back, I had no sound. I tried Googling for a resolution but nothing
sorry, i figured i would just post them here

Paulo,
I have a Toshiba U205-S5067 that the sound went out on after
hibernating. I tried reinstalling Windows to see if it would bring the
sound card back but nothing. What kernel are you using and what did you
do to wake your sound card up?
