I'm using Ubuntu 7.10 and Kopete 4:3.5.8-0ubuntu2.
I set the system language to German in kcontrol. Kopete checks for german
spelling only in the first tab. If a second chat tab is opened, Kopete checks
for english spelling instead of german.
If
I am having this issue as well, a diff between the mountdevsubfs.sh that
Ninad posted above shows no differences (and md5sum is identical). When
I try adding the devpts line to my fstab and then mount -a I get devpts
mounted already or /dev/pts is busy . Mount does not show it as being
mounted ..
Fixed it, I need to put mountdevsubfs earlier as stated at the end of:

in the meantime i found out what causes the crash i described.
if i store passwords konqueror opens the kdwallet to manage these.
if i do not install this packet konqueror stores my passwords but
crashes some time after closing it.
so i think it is a problem in calculating dep

where /dev/sda is the device in question. I haven't had a disconnect for

I can confirm that the bug is still around and that the patch is
working. It would be very nice if someone could include the patch in
Dapper because very soon such big drives will be mainstream and systems
will stop booting in a ugly way.

Finally got it to work. What led to it working was upgrading from ddwrt
23-sp2 to 24-sp1 on my WRT54GL v1.1 on my router. When I did the
upgrade I did not reset any settings so it would seem like the new
firmware was the cause, but it could have been something else (not going
to flash the firmwar

the wpa_supplicant log shows:
Trying to associate with 00:18:39:c5:a1:de (SSID='daranet' freq=2442 MHz)
Association request to the driver failed
CTRL-EVENT-DISCONNECTED - Disconnect event - remove keys
CTRL-EVENT-DISCONNECTED

I can't seem to connect to my AP, it just keeps asking for the WPA key,
the wpa_supplicant log shows:

Finally got it to work. What led to it working was upgrading from ddwrt
23-sp2 to 24-sp1 on my WRT54GL v1.1 on my router. When I did the
upgrade I did not reset any settings so it would seem like the new
firmware was the cause, but it could have been something else (not going
to flash the firmwar

I set the system language to German in kcontrol. Kopete checks for german
spelling only in the first tab. If a second chat tab is opened, Kopete checks
for english spelling instead of german.

I am having this issue as well, a diff between the mountdevsubfs.sh that
Ninad posted above shows no differences (and md5sum is identical). When
I try adding the devpts line to my fstab and then mount -a I get devpts
mounted already or /dev/pts is busy . Mount does not show it as being
mounted ..

I had the same problem with my WD MyBook EssentialEdition 320GB. I could
solve it with the following command:
echo "128" > /sys/block/sda/device/max_sectors
where /dev/sda is the device in question. I haven't had a disconnect for
a few weeks now. I'm (still) on Ubuntu Gutsy, 2.6.22-14-generic.
