i recently did a fresh install of 12.04 and guess what, the bug is still
there. removing nautilus-share fixed it again for me. if anyone is
interessted in fixing it I can supply whatever log/trace/dump/... you
need.

same here since i started using an external monitor on my laptop, happens on
waking up from suspend, sometimes when starting vlc.
the error message i get:

the errors with render ring disappeared and there was another error
like swap size 0, don't remeber exactly. despite this message it
worked several times of hibernation and

my problem was solved by ubuntu-support, removing nautilus-share did
the trick.
i mount my samba-share via /etc/fstab because that's twice as fast then
with nautilus (at least a year ago, haven't tested since then).

yep, i had a 2nd swap partition and the same inode errors:
dmesg.0:[4.771221] ext3_orphan_cleanup: deleting unreferenced inode 10013

i don't remember anymore if it stopped working immediatly after the
upgrade to
i had the same problem starting with the upgrade to 10.04 and managed to
get it going again with some tips from previous posters (thanks!). i
also had 2 swap partitions.
had to:
1. remove 2nd swap partition from /etc/fstab
2. reformat 1st swap partition and add the new UUID in conf.d/resume,
probably my problem with gdb. i wasn't able to get back to the gdb-
prompt using ctrl-c as described there:

yep, comment #3 worked for me too. i changed it in:
sudo vi /var/lib/dpkg/info/adobereader-deu.postinst
and installed some random other package afterwards with synaptic,
problem gone.

i have the same problem on an acer extensa notebook, putting a disc in
the cdrom also works for me.
top with empty cdrom-drive:

i can confirm that tsclient reverses the selection of the RDP-version,

hi,
i tried the 2.6.28-13-ikepanhc-lp349992 kernel and setting the options
but it was as slow as with vmlinuz-2.6.28-11-generic. i use an acer
extensa 5230 with intel gma 4500. attached is a diff between Xorg.0.log
with the ike-kernel with options and 2.6.30rc3 without options, hope it
helps.
I had the same problem, even switching tabs in firefox took a whole
second. I used 2.6.30-rc3 (just for being newer than rc2) from:
