I ran tests on both focal and groovy using the linked qemu PPA builds on
s390x with a vfio-pci passthrough mlx adapter. Since the kernel fix
hasn't hit focal yet, for both scenarios I used the patched groovy

I installed the focal qemu-system-s390x package (1:4.2-3ubuntu6.11) as well as

We have re-run our test suite that originally produces this bug consistently
and again were unable to reproduce. It looks like this issue has been fixed on
the latest kernel.

Squeezing in right before the end of the year! I tested this with my pseries
secure boot setup. I built the key from the PPA into grub and signed grub with
the testing key which I built into SLOF.
I was then able to boot

I've updated to libc6/groovy-proposed,now 2.32-0ubuntu3.1 (s390x and amd64) and
have successfully run the strace-testsuite (especially ipc_msg/ipc_shm tests),
glibc-tests which were added by the mentioned commits and the test
