I have hp pavilion zv5000 notebook Lucid installed on it. I've installed Licid
from Alfa and it behaved itself in this way from the very beginning, I mean
sudden hung-ups, but I thought it was some sort of childhood disease. Also I
had a hard drive full of torrents and thought it help to hang up
Then, finally, somehow it gets work:

I have hp pavilion zv5000 and Huawei pcmcia ec500 modem. It is defined
by Lucid in 50% of cases with the same error:
error : udevStrToLong_ui:73 : Failed to convert 'ff' to unsigned int#012
Also there are errors regarding some device string length:
libvirtd: 23:12:14.930: error : udevStrToLong_u
I thought I would never see my Desktop again.

I have installed Lucid on HP Pavilion zv5000 with ATI Mobility
Radeon(TM) 9000 IGP. Ufter update of this bloody plymouth I never
started X. After pressing Enter I hear the login sound and cursor appers
but that is all. Nothing helped - neither unins
