Some more information: 1) When I play the song that won't play in the iPod from Rhythmbox or gtkpod, it will play. So, the song bits make it to the iPod correctly. 2) It works correctly with an iPod Touch. 3) It worked correctly before I upgraded to Maverick. (An upgrade, not a fresh install.)
