Try to zoom 4 times successively
= Evince hang during around 20s before being able to render the new view.
Try the same with Adobe Reader
= it is almost instantaneous

Still there with Ubuntu 9.10 and Thunderbird 3.0.1
Windows and MacOS users doesn't see this bug, so it is really a problem with
Linux :-(

I have just seen that F-spot successfully import avi video file (among
lot of jpg) , but then is not able to display them. So half of the work
is done from my point of view.

I think a new bug should be filled for last Fabian comment: the trash is not
deleted when the flash drive is ejected of safely removed.
However, the best option would be in my opinion to never create a trash on
flash drive, as requested here: http://brainstorm.ubuntu.com/idea/14871/

Exactly same problem with Samsung Player One cell phone. When plugged
and used a a mass storage, nothing appear on Ubuntu desktop.

I got similar issue with a usb flash drive which is list as
Bus 002 Device 003: ID 090c:1000 Feiya Technology Corp. Flash Drive
with a lsusb command
I use Karmic on a Dell Inspiron 1525, and my other flash drive works
perfectly.

Today (after closing and restarting Ubuntu) I have seen that my file has
finally been restored.
So I delete it another time,
Go to the trash,
Restore it
Go back to the original file location which is /home/vincent/Documents/Vincent
Then I cannot see it and the throbber is always turning :-(

After restoring a file that I have just deleted, Nautilus can't display it in
its original directory (the throbber is always turning and never finished).
I can access other folder without any problem.

The problem is the same if you try to copy an image from Firefox into Open
Office Calc or Impress (but not with Writer).
