been agreed that:
- configuration and runtime files and subdirectories must lie in the
hidden directory ~/.mame. The reason is that the user doesn't need to
see them though he/she may like to (e.g. to share the snapshot take

I'd like to help You, but unfortunately the original crash happened on
June 30th 2010, and I cannot remember which file was last opened. Since
then, I experienced this bug almost daily, with many different files.
Therefore, on September I decided to hard attack the problem and I

Hi there. I removed the "2 seconds delay" workaround some time ago, after the
latest nvidia drivers update.
Later, the problem/bug came back: however I missed to add the "2 seconds
delay" trick, and it vanished some days later. I noticed that this
peculiar behaviour happened when some automatic

Yes, installing libsdl-1.2debian-pulseaudio should solve the issue.
If not, try removing any libsdl-1.2debian-* package and install libsdl-1
.2debian-all instead.
