Just overwrite a few icons located at /usr/share/icons/Ambiant-
MATE/status/22 , the icons installed by Ubuntu Mate 20.04.1 seems to be

implemented.
The search domain appears to be "All packages", even if you've selected
a different packages group. For instance, if you select the "KDE
Desktop" packages gr
This sorting problem occurs under other conditions too. For instance, if
you use the right-most dropdown to switch packages, the heading will
retain the sort indicator before, but the results will be unsorted.

I started KPackageKit from the KDE Launcher.
I selected: Software Updates -> Select All Updates -> OK
Six packages were selected for update.
It opened a "Getting dependencies" window, and once finished opened an error
message saying:

When I removed the KVM and connected the monitor (VGA connection)
directly to the computer, the display configured to the right resolution
and the desktop started.
Possibly a DDC issue?
Should KDE desktop startup silently fail if it cannot determine monitor
information?

I'll also note the X server came up in a mode other than expected. It
looked like 800x600. Should have been 1280x1024.
I tried booting in "safe graphics mode" and the result was the same ...
the kubuntu startup completes and fades out but a desktop never appears.

I booted using the Kubuntu karmic alpha 9 desktop CD.
The system booted fine, KDE started up, got the KDE startup chime,
but then the desktop went completely black. No wallpaper or menus or widgets.
The mouse cursor was visible but clicks had no effect.

I can confirm the problem with the jaunty live daily desktop cd (april
14, 2009) and persistence. I just used usb-creator to create bootable
usb stick of latest jaunty and during boot it goes to busybox and
initramfs. However, if I press F6 during boot and remove "persistent"
from kernel boot com
I've been having problems in the last week or two with jaunty daily-live
desktop iso images which I used with usb-creator to make a liveusb stick
where it will drop into busybox initramfs when I try to boot the
usbstick. I found that when I try to boot I need to press F6 key, go to
expert mode, re
