Just wanted to add another instance of this issue. I like to remotely
access my desktop, which I use as a desktop, from my laptop. I don't
want a hack where compiz is disabled which vnc connections is made. I
used intrepid fine remotely with desktop effects still enabled, even
over my narrow 256kbs

I have compiled a list of frequencies, and tested them today. The old
list of frequencies didn't work for 2 channels.
Here is the modified list, I will attach it also. PLease incorporate
this for future releases.

My machine has stopped trying to connect to sourceforge and dl the
fonts, I assume it is fixed but haven't had the gutsy to test by
installing or removing it again in case it starts the problem anew! I
did mess with the install scripts for msttcorefonts to try to skip the
DL from sourceforge serv
