When I try to login with my two MSN accounts I get a disconnected symbol
and a text box saying no error specified.
MSN accounts do not log in.
Both accounts are set with server as messenger.hotmail.com and port as
1863. These are default

Opening the UbuntuOne folder (in Ubuntu OS) suggests that all files are
updated. They are tagged with a green tick.
Upon turning on the PC the UbuntuOne icon changes to a double arrow and
a black info box pops up and says updating

Hi,
The display is not working optimally on my laptop. System Preferences
Display gives Unknown monitor, I can't turn on normal visual effects
in System Preferences Appearance (Desktop effects could not be
enabled) When I run lshw I get the following:
Just a note to add that deleting .local/share/ubuntuone/ worked for me.
Can this be built into some sort of release?

Look sorry guys I've rolled back to 9.10. I did an update with the daily
release and it completely screwed up the network (ie no networks at all
detected!) plus some iffy low level pci warnings at boot, before login.
I need to be able to use this laptop, so maybe someone else can run with
this.
Is there anyway I can do that update via the web? The machine has a duff
DVD drive.
