I installed the kernel from Brian Rogers PPA and all seems to work
fine on my Acer Travelmate 4000 with 82852/855GM Integrated Graphics.
Video and Suspend ok.

Made an update from updated 9.10 installation on Acer Travelmate 4000 to
10.04:
No or unsupported WMI interface, unable to load
This is shown in about 2 sec. and then black screen.

I took the harddisk from Travelmate 4000 and tried it in a Dell Latitude
D505: Same behaviour, but no error message.

I can boot 2.6.32-21 in failsafe graphic mode on the Acer.
Kernel 2.6.31-21 boots without problems.
