** Description changed: Since I installed the amd64 version of Hardy I've had a problem with characters messing up various applications. This happens to be a problem - in almost every application I use. Firefox, Epiphany, gajim, Xchat, - gedit, quod libet etc. I'm not entirely sure which characters triggers - the bug. At least it is occurring when the Japanese kanji "sekken" is - written on screen. Reading Japanese pages on the internet have become - somewhat difficult because of this. One friend of mine is also - experiencing this bug. - - Seems like this is only a problem in the amd64 version of Hardy. Another - friend of mine, that is running the i386 version of Hardy, does not seem - to have this problem. - - I attached a screenshot of the bug in action. + in almost every gtk+ application I use. I'm not entirely sure which + characters trigger the bug.
