This bug can be closed.
It seemed to be related to a problem between X.org and bumblebee. After
deleting an old conf-file the bug disappeared.

I agree with Cedric. This freezes nautilus everytime I access folders
with pictures or videos in it. Most times only for a few seconds, but
when there are several video files in the folder nautilus can freeze for
minutes until it has produced a thumbnail for every single video.

The script does not work for me (NVidia Geforce 8800 GT, ubuntu 10.04).
The boot menu now appears in the high resolution, after this the splash
screen appears in the know ugly way.
Because the boot menu is shown in the high resolution, I don't think,
that it is the wrong resolution.

Hmm, dont have such big files, so I cannot reproduce the bug.
Have you tried to use the option "async" in your exports? Maybe your

solved.

I can confirm this bug.
Is there a chance the fix in the kernel package will become a
StableReleaseUpdate? In my opinion it should. Otherwise this whole
package is useless.

Can someone confirm that ACLs with NFSv4 will work on lucid? As you can
see here http://packages.ubuntu.com/de/lucid/nfs4-acl-tools the package
nfs4-acl-tools is now in the universe repository for lucid.
Is there a chance this packages will be backported to karmic or an older
release?
