Jimmy has run a startup performace test on Jax10 and the browser version
is 0.3.0b5a. He is seeing startup times to be around 5 secs.
Can you provide us with the test script used to get the startup numbers?
Also, please try using the 0.3.0 rc1 as suggested by Asac.

I have tried it on my development system it appears to work. Can you
check and make sure the browser version is 0.1.6g? Also, is the problem
occurs on a crown beach system or samsung q1?
