Public bug reported: Kubuntu Feisty Beta after previously filling bug 98980 | dist-ugrade change swap vol id? I experienced the same thing several times: I boot up and find out that there is no swap-space. Checking out vol_id of my swap partition reveals its uuid changed since the last time.
