Using Ubuntu 11.04 Server - 64 bits and installing lightdm and all
dependencies:
# lightdm --test-mode
process 1446: D-Bus library appears to be incorrectly set up; failed to read
machine uuid: Failed to open "/var/lib/dbus/machine-id": No such file or
directory
See the manual page for dbus-uuidgen to correct this issue.
** (process:1446): CRITICAL **: Failed to get session bus: //bin/dbus-
launch terminated abnormally without any error message
After `apt-get install dbus`, everything works fine.
** Affects: lightdm (Ubuntu)
