Submit Review sign in hangs when no connection
To manage notifications
I had followed the steps in post #8 with no success. Everything went as
planned with no errors.
sane-find-scanner did see the scanner, but scanimage -L did not.

When choosing to sync via Ubuntu One, it says Already Registered and
when selecting Tomboy Web I will then Connect to Server then it will
authorize on the web in Firefox. Ubuntu One on the web asks me to add a
computer to my U1 account. I do so and the message in Firefox says
Authorization
Just did a fresh install of 11.10 on my laptop and have this problem...
which seems to be a common problem for U1 for a long time now. My other
computers are running 10.10 and none of them have problems after
installing the U1 nightlies PPA on them.

Hello! This bug is also affecting me as well. I am using the official
ISO from September 1. I am currently downloading the daily ISO dated
September 7 and will give it a try. If it does not work, can I find a
work around? I have an Ubuntu Hour in about 15 hours :) Thanks for any
help!

I did get 11.10 install visible by pressing F6 on the LiveCD menu
screen, then selecting nomodeset.
