I have an inspiron 1525 with Kubuntu Jaunty 64 bit. the i8k module loads up fine but it doesn't work, the fan doesn't turn off until it is almost near the trip point and the the system shut down. With Vista on this same laptop, the fan kicks off fine and the system stays cool. I started
