Sorry. Had an error in my custom.conf
Also I found a workaround. Enabling the times login inside the config file
works great.

Well after commenting out the lines in /etc/gdm3/custom.conf and
rebooting it worked for me. But currently i can not reenable the
automatic login again. No matter what i do. Remove the comments, enable
the option in the users menu. nothing works. even enabling the option in
the users menu does litt
Nvidia GTX1060 proprietary driver. After upgrade i had to disable the autologin
via command line:
press ctrl + alt + F3
login with username
now my background and steam where always shown, just type in everything even if
you dont see it.

in Ubuntu Gnome 14.10
