Suspending but not resuming for me also. I would really like to fix this
as my laptop is useless without suspend/resume. My hardware and problems

I ran into this same problem in Karmic. Using 'ssh-add ~/.ssh/id_rsa' on
the machine I am trying to connect with fixed the problem.
