I have the same problem with Lubuntu 15.10 and it was a fresh install,
however my computer hangs on shut down and reboot. The alt sysRq only
works to reboot and it doesn't work if i've already reached the "reached
target shutdown" as my keyboard isn't responsive at that point.
i did the following
I also have this problem. I think I found an easy work-around. Just
uninstall libreoffice-kde (purge it), and install libreoffice-gtk
instead. Well, I said I *thought* I found a work-around since I tried to
fix the problem in many different ways and when, after reinstalling
from the Muon Software

the livecd should really contain a working version of ndiswrapper,
otherwise for the people like me, who are going to access internet
through wireless-router and whose wifi-card cannot work without

in additional, it's only the konqueror rendering issue. on desktop, if i
choose font as Sans Serif Serif or Monospace, according to the
