Ubuntu 16.04 is using Vino for a server and Remmina can access it using
the IP of the server and VNC protocol. I have just checked it myself.

Public bug reported:
the page explains how to activate sharing on the server (the one that
shares the desktop) but does not explain how to access it from the
client. Especially it does not mention what program should be used on
the client to access, neither how to locate the server.
