13 ultrabook supposed to be the developer laptop? I thought the whole

While much improved, I find the file manager in Unity not great. While
it works fine for browsing default shortcuts, (Documents, Music,
Pictures, Videos, Downloads, Desktop) any added shortcuts in nautilus
causes the window to close without the fold

Cairo-dock very slow when using open

at a crawl, and become very jerky, when hiding or unhiding the dock.
This has not been a problem in 10.04, where it worked flawlessly. Intel

I'll give that a try. Just confirming that trying to print when having
the preview blank results in a blank document. To print from gimp I'm
needing to save as a Jpeg and open that in the image viewer. Prints fine
from there though.

Using 10.10beta netbook edition, opening the default browser installed,
firefox, causes firefox to crash. Happens 9 times out of 10, not sure
why. Worked fine on first bootup, then became problematic. Switched
desktop to desktop version at gdm login
I can confirm this bug also. Same problem, Gwibber won't start with same
error. Killing Gwibber and Gwibber-service works. Haven't tested with

The bug was fixed (I think some time ago) in the 3.5 branch of kubuntu.
The Gentoo version never exhibited the bug so I figure it was just the
specific package I was having a problem with. I assume all is well in
the KDE 4 series but I'm not using that branch yet so I don't know.

I found the problem, it was the setting to raise kicker when it touches
the bottom of my screen. Turn that off and kicker autohides as
expected. Not sure what happened to make kicker stop working in the
first place though. I hadn't changed any settings in the panel menu
from when it was working

I just want to add that I've got the exact same problem as Alan Pope.
Under Feisty qemu worked fine but under gutsy I get dropped to an
initramfs prompt (the image is Ubuntu 7.04 server). It's as if qemu
can't see the filesystem in the image.
