The attached patch is taken from pkg-mono svn, and simply adds in the
required header includes in plugin/windowless.h
Without these includes, sizeof(GdkNativeWindow) is incorrectly reported
as 4 on amd64, when it should be 8, causing a SEGV when full screen is
used.

Okay, bug tracked down.
/usr/share/mono/MonoGetAssemblyName.exe is used as part of the package
installation process to register a package in the GAC. This app is
linked against libmono-corlib1.0-cil, but doesn't depend on it. Without
that app working, the manifest file which is used by the purge p
Absolutely, categorically, never going to happen. Here are a few
reasons:
1) Including Tomboy and F-Spot goes from taking 54.4 MiB (including
required Mono) to 141 MiB. The added bloat makes Mono impossible to
include in the install CD.
2) Every bug fix forces re-download of more than 50 meg of p
UNIX file systems are case-sensitive by design, so you can't interchange
"foo" and "FOO". If your .proj file is specifying "incorrect"
assemblies, then it's at fault - if the files were generated with Visual
Studio, make sure you're up to date - I'm sure I heard somewhere that
Microsoft were fixing

gtk-sharp2 is a metapackage to pull in all the files produced by the
gtk-sharp2 source package. It's intentionally pulling in the docs.
"normal" people will have their dependencies resolved automatically -
which means that they'd only ever have libgtk2.0-cil et al unless they
went out of their way
Seems fixed at first glance (thedailyshow.com used to be a guaranteed
trigger for me, but is working okay)

dependency was written to ensure that no version mismatches would occur,
and monodevelop 1.9.3 would be mandated. However, a slight oversight was
made - monodevelop wasn't 1.9.3, but 1.9.3+dfsg, in the archive. This is
fixed in pkg-cli-
mono-jit is the only one whose symlink remains - it's the only one which
is technically policy-compliant, as it Depends on mono-common (=
${binary:Version}).
As for widespread, ALL packages made by the mono source package on older
Ubuntu releases used the symlinking trick, meaning about 30 instanc
