Yeah, audacity is also using portaudio for jack and people are using
it in gutsy. Although, it does not work very well. I was curious so I
installed pa19 with apt and ldd did show jack support, but obviously
not working completely.

When plugging in the senao nl-2511cd pcmcia wifi card the orinoco
drivers are loaded as well as the hostap. Yet, the orinoco driver is
being used instead of the correct hostap driver. The "hack" workaround
is to blacklist the orinoco_cs in /etc/modprobe.d/*.
