Apart from time downloading (problem for all) and compiling (problem for
me) the most annoyyng aspect is the w3m-el dependence.

Come on, it can't be that hard to solve this.
Couldn't the Depends line
This bug is particularly annoying since it forces me to install emacs22
and recompile all my emacs stuff again. It took a lot of downlado and a
lot of time recompiling
I use only emacs-snapshot, mainly to be updated with org-mode.
I have no intentions to install a previoues version of emacs
Yes, it has
At least I have installed it
8.5.0.a5-3v1ubuntu0
is the installed version
It is installed by some dependency I am not aware of
I have also installed another package tcl8.4
version
8.4.16-4ubuntu1
I did not installed directly these packages but they came by dependence.

I did it by hand and it worked ...
It is strange... I am using multiverce and universe repositories. Maybe this
is the reason of my problem

Well,
I uninstalled tcl8.5 and amsn was uninstalled ...
whem I try to install amsn it requires tcl8.5 and tk8.5 again
My amsn is
0.97+final-0ubuntu5
and synaptic asks for tcl8.5 and tk8.5
I will try to install the version
amsn (0.97RC1+dfsg-0ubuntu1)
by hand
