I put in 3 line feeds, but I guess your system did not understand it. Anyway,
the second listing starts at "link is down" at far left.

EB1007, Again, could you please figure out a
fix? It would be OK with a bash script to do the ifconfig routine, but
have not been able to get it to work, for the command is owned by root.
I tried sudoers, but no joy. Thanks, donde

Hi Chris,
I found: PID 5458 donde 78.63 K/s write
PID 2442 root 22.90 K/s write
Both flashed by very fast, not at same time. PID 2442 seemed most frequent.
Did repeated check, using Snapshot application to capture. The iotop
program should have a way to capture

I believe you are adding Gpredict 0.9 to Hardy Heron. If so, thanks so much
for taking the time to do so. I think it is a good package, not for the
majority maybe. I've got running on Puppy Linuux, but Ubuntu is my main OS,
so I thought it shoud be updated from 0.6 to 0.9.
Thanks again
Hey Michael
Gee whiz, Thanks a lot! If you have time, you might look at Predict,
another similar package. I haven't downloaded it, but I think there is
an update, too. I might be wrong.
Again thanks for taking the time,
Don

I'm not sure if you are asking another question about Gpredict. I still would
like to see version 0.9.0 in Hardy.
I also notice there is a similar package called Predict. I have not tried that
one yet, and don't know if there is an updated version. If so, that could be
included in Hardy, also. H
Hi Roy
OK on the naming conventions. I'm not really sure on how to proceed. Plus what
about all the no's after ./configure ?
This same sort of problem happened when I tried to compile a program for a
radio receiver called RX-320D in Ubuntu.

Here is what happens. After un tar, I see 33 files, but un tar under Puppy, I
see 40 for some reason. It is the same gpredict-0.9.0.tar.gz Below shows
files and result of ./configure

Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: predict
I have read that predict (Gpredict 0.8) will be included in Hardy Heron.
On the Gpredict web site, it shows that Version 0.9 is now stable. I
would really appreciate it if you and the developers for Hardy Heron
could be able to substitute 0.9 for
good, except I wish Firefox were faster. It's probably my
motherboard, for PCLinuxOS is slow too.
