OK I installed firefox 2.0.0.4 on a slackware box and it didn't suffer
the problem, so I copied the $HOME/.mozilla/firefox directory to the
ubuntu box and replaced the $HOME/.mozilla/firefox directory, and it has

I should have mentioned that this bug is not distro specific, and also
happens with Firefox 2.0.0.4 on Windows Vista.

I have a Netscape webmail account (Now AOL), when I attempt to connect
to the login page the browser reports connection reset by peer.
This appears to be related to a cookie that AOL mail is setting.
This problem appears to be specific to Firefox
