IMO the proper attitude would be to create a dummy fsck.ntfs which
reports that no checks has been done (where?) and returns OK

ntfsck should be linked to fsck.ntfs and probably to fsck.ntfs-3g.
the problem is that if in fstab there's an ntfs partition (terrible, yes, but
reality and still not forbidden) the mountall attempts to call fsck.ntfs misses
it (because it's called ntfsck) and stops the

Now it's getting weird. Have a look at the attached xorg log. The only
errors there are about Wacom Volito driver and so far looks like if I
unplug the tablet, then I'm able to start the Rhythmbox (so far it's the
only application causing the problem).
I'm out of ideas, but will gladly provide

Binary package hint: traverso
Ubuntu: Karmic coala
Version: 0.49.0~rc1-1
Expected: At least playback via Pulseaudio
Actual: No Pulseaudio driver in options. Run via jack.
Developers of traverso claim pulseaudio support and there's a cmake
build option WANTPULSEAUDIO=YES
@remon: My bad. Mistook PortAudio for PulseAudio and guessed that
disabled build option and presence of a source file imply the feature.
Consider closed.

Looks like powernowd has two parts. Kernel module(s) and the client

Hi Justin,
I've had it in the Gibbon. It happened on my home computer and it's the
one I don't see really often, it's more for the family - they use it
heavily. But at least I confirm that the problem exists in Gutsy
Gibbon(more or less recent +-1 week) at least on x86_64. I'll try to
check if
Hi,
This looks like klogd service being bloated by thousands of iptable logs.
Actually it's strange that system logging lags the system but anyway, probably
the quick fix is to edit couple of files in /etc/ipmasq/rules and comment lines
like
$IPTABLES -A INPUT -j LOG -i ${j%%:*} -s
anyway i've installed/uploaded wrong debug info, so it's not a big deal yet ;)
will do. thanks!

Confirm. Same here. Feisty on amd64 with libgphoto 2.3.0-ubuntu4.
With udev rules from above the device is found but the problem remains (even
after restart of udev init.d service).
The camera is Nikon CoolPix 990.
