I am running ubuntu 10.10 64-bit on a Dell e5510. Same problems here. I did #248 and this managed to get the vertical scrolling working. nevertheless I do not have a touchpad tab in the mouse preferences. Anyone having an idea on this issue? Another questions: is there any way to disable the tap
