I open file trough ssh (Connect to server...) with permissions like
owner.team 775 (server is ubuntu 8.04) and i open file for edit to
gedit. After i save it permissions has changed to nick.nick.

Yes i agree. I am professional programmer and i have updated my bios only once
in lifetime.
I could think updating bios, but we should find out is mistake originally made
by bios writer or
by kernel team.
If mistake isn't made when writing bios then we shouldnt promote to update
bios.

Can't enable ECC from bios settings because my memory is non-ecc and
doubt that motherboard will support that either.

Checked bios and nothing about ECC, but maybe thats because i have non-ecc
memory.
Dont think that on earlier kernels its tryed to load ecc module and then
complaining that cant do it.
Can someone help how to disable that ecc module?

I tryed that package, downloaded it from:
