Guys, I think I discovered sth strange regarding this bug.
As I've already said this bug appears always I restart my laptop. BUT BUT, if I
unplug it from the power it restarts normally, and without checking the drives
for errors, Strange isn't it?

The laptop's screen (I cant tell about PC's) running Ubuntu is Less
brighter than the screen when using Vista on the same machine. Im sure
that the brightness on Ubuntu's options is on maximum, but still, in
vista the view is clearer, lighter, and I'm very very pissed off.

I have a laptop with an external monitor attached to it
with the 180.27 nvidia driver, the nvidia-settings program is unable to extend
my desktop to the second screen. It seems to detect the screen just fine, but
obviously fails to set the meta mode.

If you have to open a Microsoft Office document with OpenOffice, there are a
lot of chances that the software would crash, especially when opening
powerpoint files with effects or music. The OpenOffice should be improved. I
dont know if other have this problem, or just me.
How I solved this problem:
I uninstalled the broken libgphoto2 package from synaptic.
I ran the command whereis to see if libgphoto was installed somewhere
It gave me /usr/local/lib/libgphoto2* etc
I went to /usr/local and moved all libgphoto2 related libraries to a backup
folder.
Then installing
Same problem - libgphoto2 failed to install during upgrade to gutsy
By running "sudo apt-get install -f" I get the output in the file
attached with this comment ("output.txt")

I have the same problem, only I have a ProSavage8 KM266/KL266 video card
and in /etc/X11/xorg.conf I have "savage" Driver.
Can you please detail a way to recover from this crash? Because the only
way I know is restarting the computer (from the power button...).
